Greer Chamber Adds New Partner In Gift Card Program

Program helps keep money in Greer area businesses.

The Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce announced Monday a new partner in their gift card program, “Keep the Green in Greater Greer.”

BB&T has partnered with the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce to present this program that leverages technology to ensure gift card funds are locked to Greater Greer Chamber members, resulting in over $73,000 being sent to member businesses through the gift card program.

“Supporting local businesses has a positive rippling effect on the local economy and the community as a whole. With BB&T’s partnership, we are able to sustain and enhance our efforts of reminding consumers that shopping local is critical for the continued development of our local economy and community.” stated Allen Smith, President/CEO of the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce.
