UPDATE: Greer CPW Says Large Outage in Greer Area
A storm passing through the area has caused power outages throughout the area.

Greer CPW is experiencing a large outage in the area.
According to the company's Twitter account, they are working to restore four circuits. They are also dealing with downed trees and power lines.
CPW is expected to post another update in the next hour.
Almost 8,000 people are without power in Greenville County, according to Duke Energy.
