Greer Day Care Worker Sentenced To 50 Years

Ronasha Taylor was convicted Wednesday on multiple charges related to sexual abuse of children at a care facility in Greer.

A Simpsonville woman who used to work at a child care center in Greer was convicted Wednesday of sexually abusing children there, and sentenced to 50 years in prison, GoUpstate.com.  

 Taylor was found not guilty on two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a child younger than 11, but convicted her on six counts of acts of committing or attempting to commit a lewd act upon a child under 16.

Taylor, who is from 108 Jackson Road in Simpsonville, was a caregiver at Kids R Kids in Greer when she was accused in 2010 of sexually abusing a child at the center.

The judge sentenced Taylor to 15 years each on two counts and five years each on four counts. The sentences will run consecutively.
