Greer Easter Egg Hunt Cancelled
More heavy rain made the planned Easter Egg Hunt impossible.

The City of Greer confirmed Sunday morning that Sunday's planned Easter Egg Hunt at Century Park had been cancelled.Â
The city's Parks and Recreation Department released the following statement:Â
"Because of heavy rains overnight and steady rains throughout the morning, the Egg-Tastic Easter Event has been cancelled. We hope that you understand this difficult decision that had to be made and we apologize for any inconvenience."

The event had been previously scheduled for Saturday, but rains washed that out as well.Â
Officials with the Parks and Recreation Department say they do plan on celebrating Easter some this week in their after school program, but have not released any details as to what that might entail.Â
