Greer High Students Win Art Awards
Four Greer High students win South Carolina Scholastic Art Awards.

Greer High School announced four of its students took home South Carolina Scholastic Art Awards.Â
This is an exhibition which has pulled in as many as 2,000 entries in the past, is considered one of the most prestigious of all high school art competitions.Â
The competition is essentially a state championship for the arts, and give Gold Key, Silver Key and Honorable Mention awards equivalent to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.Â

The students who won awards are as follows:
Ricky Carter = Gold Key in Drawing

Stephanie Carlisle = Gold Key in Mixed Media
Bethany Caouette = Silver Key in Photography
McKenzie Hare = Gold Key in Sculpture
                        Silver Key in Photography
                        Honorable Mention in Mixed Media

Their work will be on display at Lander University until February 5th.Â
