Greer High To Hold Its 15th Miss Greer High Pageant

The Miss Greer High School pageant will celebrate 15 years of pageantry on Feb. 8 and Feb. 9 with the crowning of a new Miss Greer High School.

This year's theme is "block party," and will feature all of its past titleholders along, with the 16 contestants vying for this year’s title.

Miss Greer High School is patterned after the Miss America Scholarship Program.

Each contestant competes in Individual Interview, Casual Wear, Talent and Evening Gown.

Those announced in the top 10 also will answer an on-stage question. The winner will receive a $500 college scholarship.

The pageant will be held in the Greer High auditorium at 7 p.m. on Feb. 8 and 9. The cost is $7 each night. Tickets will be sold at the door. Miss Greer High School is sponsored by the Greer High Band Boosters. For any additional information or questions please contact Debbie Brown at 355-5701.
