Greer Native's American Idol Run Comes To An End

Dylan Arms, a 20-year-old from Greer, saw his run on American Idol end Wednesday, The Greenville News reports. 

Arms, whose folksy musical talent earned him a trip to Hollywood after auditioning in Charlotte, was eliminated during the first night of the show's week in Hollywood. 

Arms, who has an album "So Much To Say" on iTunes, said the pressure on the show was immense. 

“What’s hard, too, is you’re also singing in front of your competition while you’re on the stage, so you have all the guys sitting out in the chairs,” he said. “It’s a lot of pressure.”
