Greer Woman Thankful To Be Alive After Triple Transplant
Stephanie Lindstrom spent five months in the hospital after getting a heart, kidney and liver transplant.

A Greer woman is back home and preparing for the holidays after spending five months at Emory University Hospital recovering from a triple organ transplant, FoxCarolina.com reports.Â
Stephanie Lindstrom was rushed to Emory in Atlanta after having heart complications in May.
Things got even more serious when she was told she required a heart, kidney and liver transplant. She got the massive transplant and recovered over the next five months. Lindstrom said she was hoping to get home by Christmas - she made it back to Greer before Thanksgiving, as she was released on Oct. 23.Â

"I am just so thankful for everything that I can do like eat normal food, do homework with my daughter and play cars and trucks with my son," she said.
