Greer's Dine On Trade Event Set For October
In addition to dining in the streets, there will be live entertainment and valet parking.
Trade Street, the most heavily renovated part of the CenterG Streetscape Project, will be closed to vehicles on Friday nights during October. Downtown restaurants will manage tables outside their businesses from 6-10 p.m. Those who wish to participate in the outdoor dining experience are asked to make reservations directly with their restaurant of choice.
Participating restaurants include Abbott’s Frozen Custard, Barista Alley, Blue Ridge Brewing, Café Mazzitelli, Cartwright Food Hall (while not open yet, some of their vendors will be participating), Crate Restaurant & Wine Bar, Los Portales, Plate 108, Sonny's Grill, Stomping Grounds, The Bleu Porch in partnership with La Bouteille, and The Mason Jar. In addition to dining in the streets, there will be live music and valet parking. Greer Station merchants will offer extended store hours for the event.

Jacob Johnson will be the musical guest on October 2.
"With nearly 100% occupancy on Trade Street, this is a great way to get a meal and visit with familiar businesses as well as new and coming businesses," Mayor Rick Danner said. "This event is just one of the many ways Trade Street can now be used to create foot traffic and increase exposure to our merchants."
