Growth Spurs BrightStar Care Greenville/Spartanburg to Enlist New Management

Greenville, South Carolina, USA, January 29, 2015 - Due to significant growth over the past several years, David Vaughan and Brian Leonard, owners of BrightStar Care Greenville/Spartanburg, have enlisted Frank Sanders to serve as general manager to direct its operations, growth, and plans for continuous improvements.

Sanders served for over 20 years as President and Owner of The Fitness Store, a business focused on home health and fitness, with locations throughout the State of Ohio. Under his guidance the business grew to be one of the top 10 firms of its kind in the United States

After serving five years as a consultant to business owners with one of Ohio’s largest CPA firms, Frank and his family decided several years ago to move to the upstate area, where they purchased a home in 2013.

“This opportunity with David and Brian came along at just the right time for all us. The office has done a great job in meeting the needs of its clients. When Brian Leonard and David Vaughan acquired BrightStar Care Greenville/Spartanburg in 2012, they saw a tremendous need for additional in-home care services in the South Carolina Upstate. Their experiences caring for their own aging parents and grandparents gave them first-hand insight into the pressures elder care imposes on families. In the past two and a half years, BrightStar Care Greenville/Spartanburg has earned the prestigious Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval, as well as its Skilled Care License.

As owners of several other businesses, David and Brian felt the time was right for dedicated professional management to expand upon BrightStar Care Greenville/Spartanburg’s position as the area market leader for home care, skilled care, and client transportation needs.
