Housekeeper Of Slain Eastside Couple Returns To Jail

Shirley Rogers allegedly violates bond by committing breach of trust, sent back to jail.

Shirley Rogers isn't charged with the stabbing deaths of Helen and Gary Wells, but the former housekeeper for the elderly couple is still in hot water with the law, Fox Carolina reports.

Rogers was arrested Wednesday after warrants were signed by the Greenville Police Department for breach of trust after she allegedly rented a U-Haul truck on Nov. 18 and didn't return it, as agreed, for another month.

The crime violates her bond on the federal charges she already faced for credit card fraud, stolen mail and identity theft. Her victim in that case was Helen Wells, for whom she had been a housekeeper, and who was found brutally stabbed to death in her Eastside home in October.
