Up to a half-inch of ice possible in some areas.

The National Weather Service is expecting a blast of arctic cold to sweep in from the northwest on Friday, bringing with it the chance of ice.Â
The NWS is calling for an 80 percent chance of freezing rain in Taylors, Easley, Simpsonville and Mauldin, mostly before 4 p.m. High temperatures aren't expected to top 33 degrees, and the low will hit the mid 20's.
