Junior Leadership Greer Class Chosen

Twenty-five students have been selected from area high schools to participate in the program.

The Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce has selected 25 students from the area to participate in the Junior Leadership Greer Class XXV. 

The program sponsored by the chamber started in 1989, as a class project for the tenth leadership class.

The class is designed to identify potential leaders from area high schools, stimulate their awareness in the community, develop a spirit of cooperation for the accomplishment of goals ,foster communication and understanding between student and community leaders, and to identify opportunities for community involvement.

The year will begin with Orientation on August 27 and the monthly sessions will run through April 2014.
