Blue Ridge High School and Greer High School are both hosting their first round games in the 3A Upperstate football playoffs, GoUpstate.com reports.
Just after Greer handed Blue Ridge High School its first defeat of the season, the two Greer area schools were respectively named the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds in the Upperstate playoffs, with No. 1 Greer set to host Seneca next Friday, and Blue Ridge getting Lower Richland at home.Â
It will not be the first time Greer has met Seneca, as the Bobcats shocked the Yellow Jackets in an overtime thriller on Aug. 24 at Dooley Field in Greer.Â
