Man Accused Of Threats On House Arrest
Jamal Davenport was arrested Sunday for allegedly using an electronic device to threaten a USC Upstate student.

A 20-year-old man accused of threatening to shoot a USC Upstate student is now under house arrest and awaiting a Nov. 7 court date, WYFF reports.
 He was considered armed and dangerous by Spartanburg County authorities seeking his capture, which occurred Sunday when someone recognized him at Fall For Greenville in downtown Greenville.Â
Davenport was taken into custody. During a bond hearing, a judge set his bond at $470 and required Davenport to be under house arrest until his Nov. 7 court date. He must also wear an electronic monitoring device.Â

Officers said Davenport is originally from Rhode Island, where he is believed to have been affiliated with gang activity.Â
