Man Arrested In Spartanburg County For Passing School Bus
A school but that is stopped while picking up children is not supposed to be passed by other motorists. One man in Boiling Springs found that out the hard way.

A 43-year-old Boiling Springs man was arrested after passing a school bus while its stop sign had been deployed, Fox Carolina reports.Â
With kids back in school, motorists may need to remember that if you see a school bus picking kids up or dropping them off, it's a no-no to pass it.Â
Dale Gilbert, 43 of Boiling Springs was arrested Tuesday when a Spartanburg County Sheriff's deputy in an unmarked car reportedly saw him drive past a school bus with its red lights on during a morning stop.Â

Gilbert allegedly pulled around the school bus and passed it on the median on Highway 9 while its stop sign was out. He faces losing six points on his license, $500 fine and up to 30 days in jail.Â
