Monterrey Restaurant Nearly Ready To Open

A new Mexican restaurant is nearly ready to open in the Taylors area. 

Monterrey, which has been under construction since April on the 6100 block of Wade Hampton Boulevard in between Taylors and Greer, will open the first week of October, store operators said Wednesday. 

The restaurant has its facade completed, and the inside already boasts a finished bar and new wood tables.
