November 10: Greenville Badminton Club Tournament, Pavilion Recreation Complex from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. : This event benefits MathCounts, a national math enrichment, coaching, and competitive program for middle school students. Newcomers are welcome. To sign up visit http://greenvillebadmintonclub.com/.
November 10: Veterans Day Salute & Cruise at Slater Hall - 10am-3 p.m. :Â Â Check out vintage cars, entertainment, and great food. This event honoring our veterans is brought to you by the Slater Hall Citizens Committee.
November 10: Mulch Madness at Southside Park: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Our Park Heroes will be on hand to spruce up this favorite Golden Strip park. Park Heroes is a program of the Greater Greenville Parks Foundation that offers volunteers various opportunities to help out at Greenville Rec facilities.
November 13 and 15: Volleyball Open House at the Pavilion

Get out of the house this winter and join us for co-ed volleyball beginning in November. At this free of charge open house, individuals and teams can check out the facility, play some matches, and learn more about the upcoming leagues. Check outwww.greenvillerec.com/volleyball. Â
November 15: Turkey Trot at Furman University Â
Adults ages 50+ meet in front of Paladin Stadium at 10:30am to warm up for a one mile and three mile walk around campus. This free event promises to be a pleasant morning out on a crisp fall day. Snacks and door prizes round out the event. Learn more here.Â
November 22: Turkey Day 8K at CU-ICAR
Trees Greenville invites the entire family to start Thanksgiving morning with a brisk walk or run. The annual fundraiser supports all of the great work that Trees Greenville does to beautify our community and make it a healthy and green place to live. For information go to www.turkeyday8k.com.
November 29: Greenville Giver's Gain Gala at the Greenville Marriot
Special Olympics South Carolina and Greenville Rec team up to raise funds for Special Olympics upstate athletes. Enjoy music, food, drinks, and dancing, as well as, live and silent auctions. Â

December 1:Â Volunteer Project - Trail Building at Pleasant Ridge Park
Park Hero volunteers are needed to help build a trail around the Pleasant Ridge Camp & Retreat Center at Pleasant Ridge Park. Pleasant Ridge Camp & Retreat Center is home to Camp Spearhead and Camp Courage.  Click here for more information and to register online. Â
