North Greenville Receives Largest Gift Ever
Georgia Roberson bequeathed some $6.25 million to NGU.

North Greenville University received the largest single gift in its 121-year history this week, multiple media outlets including GreerToday.com reported.
The late Georgia Roberson, a frequent supporter of the school, bequeathed some $6 million of her estate to North Greenville University.
Because the school's five-year goal of $25 million has already been eclipsed partly due to Roberson's large gift, school President Jimmy Epting and the university's board of trustees has since adjusted its goal to $42.7 million by 2015.

“With the current economic climate, we have been truly blessed with friends like the Robersons who realize the importance of Christ-centered higher education,” said Epting. “This is a historic day in the life of His institution.”
