Person of Interest Sought in Church Burglaries

Greer police need the public's help to identify the man pictured above.

Police said that he is a person of interest in at least five church break-ins within Greer's city limits.

The burglaries started July 17 and have continued through Friday morning.

Investigators said that several methods of entry have been used to enter the churches, including kicking in the front and side doors, forcing open weak or unlocked doors and busting windows.

The burglaries have occurred at Greer Church of Christ, Victor United Methodist Church, Lord of Glory Church, Calvary Baptist Church and Hillcrest Church.

Some places lost as much as $120 in donations, others as little as $15 in cash.
