Radio Stations Trying To Help Food Banks

Another Voice with Jason and Eric, Spin-FM, 103.3 and La Nueva 103.9 asking for public's help.

Another Voice with Jason and Eric, Spin-FM, 103.3 and La Nueva 103.9 realize that the struggling economy, cold weather and the holiday season combine to clear the shelves of local food banks as more families are in need and more of the homeless seek aid from shelters and food banks.  In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the two radio stations are placing food donation boxes in local stores across Greenville County and collecting non-perishable food items throughout the month of November.

The first food bank to benefit from the donations will be the Triune Mercy Center, which provides 50 boxes of groceries to families and 20 bags of ready-to-eat for the homeless every Wednesday.
