School Bulletin: Riverside Middle School

• The 3^rd Annual iMove 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, April 13 beginning at 8:00 a.m.  Participant check-in will be held from 8:00 – 8:30, a Zumba Warm-up will be at 8:30, and the Run/Walk will begin at 9:00 a.m. Proceeds will benefit the Harvest Hope Food Bank (canned goods) and RMS. 

 

• Congratulations to Stephanie Gonzalez and Antoine Kahaleh for being selected as the finalists of the ACE Award. (Advocates for Character and Education Award)  These two eighth graders were recognized for their hard work, positive choices despite adversity, leadership, and contributions in school and the community.  These students will represent RMS at a banquet on May 23^rd at the KROC Center.  Other nominees were:  Megan Lamb, Lindsey Wise, Abigail Smith, Tim Cooper, and Dean Lage. 

Upcoming Dates: 

• April 12 – Ice Cream Sundaes sold during lunch in the cafeteria.  Price is $2.00
• April 15 – 19 – Spirit Week
• April 26 – Eighth Grade Dance will be held in the school’s cafeteria 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
