SHRM Certifies Bob Jones University's Human Resources Degree Program

SHRM analyzed BJU's BS degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Human Resources, engaged BJU's faculty in discussions and information sharing, and determined that the program fully aligns with the suggested core content guidelines

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has certified that Bob Jones University’s BS degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources fully aligns with the SHRM HR curriculum guidelines.

Using results identified and derived from a multiple quantitative and qualitative research methodology, SHRM devised the SHRM HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates in 2005 and revalidated them in 2011. Their goal is to provide colleges and universities a resource for tracking HR curricula against a common, minimum skill set needed by employers who seek to fill HR professional positions.

“We’re pleased to have earned this certification,” says Mike Buiter, dean of the School of Business at BJU. “We are constantly striving to provide better opportunities for our graduates in their field of study. This certification helps those in Human Resources move ahead.”
