Taylors Gaming Machine Declared Legal By Judge

A magistrate judge has for the second time said a gaming machine seized by the Greenville County Sheriff's Office is legal.

For the second time, a Greenville County judge has declared a gaming machine seized by the authorities to be legal.

WYFF reports that Magistrate Charlie Garrett had already ruled earlier this year that the machine, which offers games like keno, slots and poker (with redeemable coupons distribute instead of cash prizes), was legal.

The machine was seized from a Taylors convenience store last year by the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, and when Garrett ruled this summer that the machine was legal, the GCSO appealed the decision.
