Teen Found Dead Behind Taylors Home Identified

The teen found dead behind a home in Taylors Wednesday has been identified.

Deputies with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of shots fired.

When deputies arrived at the Woodleigh Drive residence, they found a body in the backyard of the home.

According to Fox Carolina, Deputy Coroner Mike Ellis has identified the teen as 15-year-old Trayvon Dodd, a Taylors resident.  

Dodd's death has been ruled a homicide, which is still under investigation.
