Video: Rep. Dan Hamilton Outlines 2013 Legislative Goals

Taylors Patch caught up Friday with Rep. Dan Hamilton, who represents District 20 (which includes Taylors) in the South Carolina House of Representatives. Hamilton was part of a legislative panel speaking at an event being held by the United Way. 

Hamilton was joined on the panel by Sen. Karl Allen, a Democrat representing Senate District 7, and Rep. Chandra Dillard, a Democrat representing House District 23. 

Hamilton told Patch some of his main legislative goals included a renewed focus on transportation, as he aims to allocate some $250 million in additional funding for roads and bridges. His other goals include tax reform and ensuring school readiness for young children.
