Work Planned On Greer City Park Fountain

W.P. Law, Inc., which originally constructed the water feature in 2008, will be onsite to demolish and rebuild the fountain’s inner wall. Weather permitting, the work is expected to take approximately 12 days.

Given the fountain’s age, Grounds Supervisor Gary Melton said the work is both aesthetic and functional. New brick will be used to rebuild the inner wall and the fountain jets will be replaced.

Melton added that public areas around the fountain, including the amphitheater stage and sidewalk access, will be fenced off for public safety during construction.
