Bailey Street in Sioux Falls Closed To Thru Traffic For Two Weeks Beginning Aug. 31

The closure is from North West Avenue to the entrance of the north CCL Label building to allow contractors to perform street repairs.

Beginning on Monday, August 31, 2020, Bailey Street will be closed to thru traffic from North West Avenue to the entrance of the north CCL Label building to allow contractors to perform street repairs. Access will be maintained to residences and businesses in this area. This closure is expected to last for two weeks.

This is the next phase of a project to reconstruct Bailey Street between West Avenue and Main Avenue. Improvements will include upgrading the water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, accessible curb ramps and asphalt surfacing. The project is anticipated to be complete by November 2020.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
