Lane Closure On 49th Street Bridge Announced

From the City of Sioux Falls:

October 23, 2020

Beginning on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, the outside eastbound lane of West 49th Street will be closed at the bridge over the Big Sioux River, near Kiwanis Avenue. Construction crews will be performing repairs on the bridge sidewalk and the bridge railing.

Traffic will remain open in both directions, however, drivers may experience slight delays.

This work is anticipated to be complete by mid-November.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
