Marsy's Law
This was the first time voters can decide a ballot question at a primary, according to The Associated Press. Under the proposed change to the state Constitution, victims would have to opt-in to many of their rights and specifically allow authorities to share information with the public to help solve crimes. The New York Times reported that voters overwhelmingly chose "yes" to changing the law.
