Traffic Advisory: A Portion Of Marion Road In Sioux Falls Will Be Closed Beginning April 5

Beginning on Monday, April 5, 2021, Marion Road will be closed from 53rd Street to 57th Street to allow construction crews to begin work on street and utility improvements. Motorists should utilize Solberg Avenue as the detour route.

Work will include replacing the water main and sanitary sewer, concrete repairs, and new asphalt surfacing.

Marion Road is expected to reopen to traffic mid to late June 2021.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and will want to consider alternate routes.
