Bonnaroo 2018: Middle Tennessee Man Dies

A 32-year-old Mt. Juliet man was the first person to die at Bonnaroo in three years.

MANCHESTER, TN -- A 32-year-old Mt. Juliet man died at Bonnaroo Friday, the Coffee County Sheriff's Department announced.

Deputies were called to the campground at the four-day music festival outside Manchester for a medical issue around 10:30 a.m. Friday and found Michael Craddock Jr. dead inside a vehicle. Foul play is not suspected.

Craddock's body was sent to the medical examiner in Nashville to determine the exact cause of death. It is the first death at Bonnaroo in three years.

Despite the similarity of their names, the deceased Craddock Jr. is not related to former Metro Councilman Michael Craddock, he told The Tennessean's Natalie Neysa Alund.
