Joe Clyde Daniels Search: Sheriff Reviewing Surveillance
The Dickson County Sheriff is reviewing surveillance footage as the search for Joe Clyde Daniels' body continues.

CHARLOTTE, TN -- After a call for help earlier this week, the Dickson County Sheriff said his office has received surveillance footage from homes near where Joe Clyde Daniels disappeared earlier this month and that investigators are reviewing it in an effort to locate the 5-year-old's body, still missing nearly three weeks after his alleged murder by his father.
Sheriff Jeff Bledsoe put out a call Tuesday for footage from homeowners on 17 roads near the Daniels' Tennessee City home, particularly from people who have cameras facing the road. Even as they prepare the case against Joe Clyde's parents, the department is reviewing that footage and continuing to search for the little boy's body.

The little boy was reported missing by his parents from their home in rural Dickson County northwest of Nashville the morning of April 4, launching a massive search utilizing hundreds of volunteers and law enforcement officers. The boy's father, Joe Daniels, was arrested April 7, charged with beating his son to death and hiding his body. His mother, Krystal Daniels, was arrested two days later, charged with aggravated child neglect.
Despite Joe Daniels reportedly admitting to the murder and hiding the body, searchers have yet to find it.
