Middle Tennessee Teen Accused Of Sexual Battery Of Florida Girl
A Hendersonville 18-year-old is charged with sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl in Florida.
TAMPA, FL -- An 18-year-old from Tennessee is jailed in Florida, accused of sexual battery of a 5-year-old girl.
Hillsborough County, Fla., sheriff's deputies say that Justin Bowen of Hendersonville was visiting acquaintances in Hillsborough County last month. Investigators say Bowen engaged in sexual contact with the child when her parents went outside to check the mail and speak to neighbors.
The girl later told a family member what happened and that family member notified the sheriff's office.

Bowen returned to Sumner County and initially did not cooperate with the investigation, but turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He remains jailed in Florida.
