In the 911 call, Daniels’ father told a dispatcher that the boy "must have unlocked the door." The youngster was last seen wearing pajamas, but did not take any blankets or stuffed animals with him.
A K-9 tracked his scent to a nearby pond where the trail went cold; the pond was drained and nothing was found. There are numerous other incidental bodies of water near the home and divers joined helicopters and volunteers on the ground for the search throughout the day Wednesday.
