Spring Hill Suspicious Package 'A Hoax,' THP Says

SPRING HILL, TN -- A suspicious package left outside a Spring Hill home was a hoax bomb, Tennessee Highway Patrol officials said.

The Spring Hill Police responded to the home on Iroquois Court Sunday afternoon and then called in the THP Bomb Squad to investigate the package.

Initially, investigators believed it was a pipe bomb, but they eventually determined the package was empty and a hoax.

No one was injured and the package was disposed of.
