The annual sales-tax-free weekend in Tennessee will be July 27-29; see what gets the discount.
NASHVILLE, TN -- Tennessee's annual school-shopping sales-tax-free weekend is scheduled for July 27 to 29.
The annual event waives state and local sales taxes on a variety of back-to-school necessities.
Items exempt from taxes between 12:01 a.m. July 27 and 11:59 p.m. July 29 are available here. Note that most items are only exempt if they are less than $100; computers are exempt if less than $1500. Items not exempt are available here.
