Tennessee Worker's Comp Filing Now Available Online
Paperless - and travel-free - filing for worker's compensation claims is now available in Tennessee.

NASHVILLE, TN -- The worker's compensation process is never easy with the paperwork, hearings, appeals and arbitration, but Tennesseans may find things a bit easier now after the state rolled out an online system for filing.
According to a release from the Bureau of Worker's Compensation, the new TNComp system will allow attorneys and self-representing claimants file without printing anything or taking the time to travel to a state office.
Filing by email has been available for about four years, but that still required the bureau to print out copies and enter the information by hand into the state database, which often took two days to finalize. Now filing will be relatively instantaneous.

The free service, modeled on the federal court system's PACER platform, also allows attorneys and litigants to view documents and receive notices and reminders of upcoming hearings.
