15-Year-Old Charged In Hickory Hollow Carjacking
A 15-year-old is accused of stealing a Maxima from a man early voting in Hickory Hollow Tuesday.

ANTIOCH, TN -- A 15-year-old carjacked a man in broad daylight Tuesday afternoon in Hickory Hollow, Metro Police say.
The man had just finished voting early in the library at the Global Mall at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday when 15-year-old Mario Gouda reportedly approached and asked for an address. The man looked up the address on his cell phone and then Gouda allegedly pulled a gun and demanded the keys to the man's 2007 Nissan Maxima. The man complied and Gouda drove off.
Shortly thereafter, the Maxima was spotted on Nashboro Boulevard near Murfreesboro Pike. The driver sped through a parking lot and then turned into oncoming traffic on Nashboro, striking a tree in the median. Gouda was arrested.

Police say they found a 9-mm pistol inside the car which had been reported stolen in 2015 from an Ohio gun store, along with 9-mm ammunition. Gouda was reportedly carrying .40-caliber ammunition, as well.
The car's owner reportedly identified Gouda, who refused to speak to detective and is charged with aggravated robbery.
