Antioch T.J. Maxx To Close Ahead Of Smyrna Store's Opening
The Antioch location of T.J. Maxx will shutter before the retailer's new Smyrna location opens August 10.

ANTIOCH, TN — The Antioch location of T.J. Maxx will close ahead of the opening of a new store in Smyrna, the retailer confirmed to The Tennessean Thursday.
A spokesperson for the company told the newspaper it plans to close the store at the Belle Forge shopping center on Mt. View Road by August 6. The Smyrna store will open in the Ridley Pointe shopping center on Genie Lane August 10. "I hate to see them go," Metro Councilwoman Jacobia Dowell told The Tennessean. "I know it's one of higher-performing T.J. Maxx in our market. I think we'll see more retail in the community with the Century Farms development."
