Windows shake, pets freak out and neighbors complain about blasting connected to the construction of a new postal service facility.

There have been 10 complaints filed with the state's department of commerce and insurance, but seismic and noise testing show that the blasting does not exceed the limits for vibration and noise.

Nevertheless, neighbors tell News Channel 5, the noise and shaking has become near-constant.

“It’s obnoxious,” William Cazeleski told the station. “It’s loud. All the windows shake and the dog freaks out.”

Other nearby residents said Rock Solutions didn't do nearly enough to inform them about the blasting, its volume and duration, and they are concerned their foundations may be damaged.

Rock Solutions did not respond to WTVF's requests for comment.
