Get Yourself A Pittie: MACC Waiving Adoption Fees on Pit Bulls

October is National Pit Bull Month and fees on the dogs are waived through October 23.

NASHVILLE, TN — October is National Pit Bull Month and to celebrate, Metro Animal Care and Control is hosting a "Pittie Party," waiving adoption fees for all dogs that meet the criteria to be considered a pit bull or pit bull mix.

The event runs through October 23 at the shelter at 5125 Harding Place. Williamson County Adoption Center is also participating.

“Both MACC and WCAC treat each dog in their programs as individuals.” said Rebecca Morris, Spokesperson for Metro Animal Care and Control. “Right now our shelter is full of pittie mixes and we hope Nashville residents will consider adopting during our Pittie Party.”
