I-24 East Partially Closed After Semi Rollover

Some eastbound lanes of I-24 near Haywood Lane will be closed through part of morning rush after a semi-truck crash

ANTIOCH, TN -- A tractor-trailer rolled over early Monday morning on Interstate 24 East near Haywood Lane, closing some lanes in the high-traffic area.

Four people were injured and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with unknown injuries after the 3 a.m. crash. The truck, which was carrying canned goods, spilled some of its load on to the roadway and it is leaking diesel fuel. HAZMAT crews are assisting with the clean-up.

Nashville Fire Departmetn crews had to cut the driver of the truck from his cab.

Some lanes of the road will be closed until at least 8:15 a.m.
