Man Killed In Single-Car Crash On I-24 In South Nashville
The man killed in this morning's crash in South Nashville is presumed to be Rondon Clark, 20, of Cordova, Tennessee.

The man killed in this morning’s 3:50 a.m. single-vehicle crash on I-24 East near the Antioch Pike overpass in South Nashville is presumed to be Rondon Clark, 20, of Cordova, Tennessee. Due to the extensive crash and fire damage to the 2012 model Hyundai Elantra, the driver was not identifiable at the scene. Officers strongly believe Clark to be the victim based on their investigation.

The Hyundai was traveling east on I-24 when it left the right side of the roadway and struck the support beam for one of TDOT’s overhead message boards. After impact, the car caught fire.
There was no indication of alcohol or drug involvement at the scene. Speeding is believed to have been a contributing factor to this crash.
