Metro Animal Control At Capacity, Announces Half-Price Adoptions
With 90 dogs and 70 cats in the Metro shelter, adoptions are 50 percent off Oct. 1 to Oct. 8.

NASHVILLE, TN — There are approximately 90 dogs and 70 cats currently sheltered at Metro Animal Care and Control, putting the shelter at capacity.
To make room — and give animals a forever home — MACC is holding a "Clear The Shelter" event from October 1 to October 8. Adoption fees for all pets will be half price during that week.
"Adoption events are a great way to raise awareness about the many dogs and cats that are in need of permanent homes,” said Rebecca Morris, spokesperson for Metro Animal Care and Control. “We need the support of the community to make events like this a success.”
