Metro Council District 33 Special Election Run-Off: Early Voting, Election Day Set
The run-off between Tim Herndon and Antoinette Lee for the District 33 Metro Council seat is set for Sept. 19. Early voting begins Aug. 30.

NASHVILLE, TN — Early voting in the run-off of the special election to fill the vacant District 33 Metro Council seat will begin August 30 with election day set for September 19.
Tim Herndon and Antoinette Lee finished in the top two spots in the original election to replace Sam Coleman, now a general sessions judge, but neither received the requisite majority to win the seat outright.

Early voting will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays between August 30 and September 14, with the exception of Labor Day, at the Metro Southeast Building at 1417 Murfreesboro Pike.
Election Day will be September 19 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m at precinct locations in the Antioch-area District 33.
