Mom Turns In Son For Antioch Store Break-In

Two teenagers suspected of robbing Antioch's Bullets and Mullets were arrested after a tip from one suspect's mother.

ANTIOCH, TN -- Metro Police arrested two teenagers for the break-in at a Bell Road clothing store after one suspect's mother called in a tip.

Four or five people were seen on surveillance footage breaking into Bullets and Mullets early Friday morning. Police said Friday afternoon two suspects - a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old - were arrested after the older teen's mother contact police.

According to MNPD, investigators met with the mother at her home and she told them her son and the other teenager were asleep in the house. Both admitted they used a hammer to break the front windows at the store, according to police, who said they also found jewelry, clothing and burglary tools at the home.
