Nashville Police Hear Shots, Find 2 Injured

Two people were injured in a shooting on Charles Davis Boulevard Sunday.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Patrolling Metro Police officers heard gunfire Sunday night and searching for its source, found two injured men.

The officers reported the shots around 8:15 p.m as they patrolled Charles Davis Boulevard. Shortly thereafter, they found two men with gunshot wounds.

Neither's injuries were particularly serious - one man even turned down a trip to the hospital, while the other was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police did not immediately have a suspect description or further details about the shooting itself.
