South Nashville Bar Sued After Fatal Crash
The family of a woman killed in a November wreck is suing a bar, saying it overserved the driver.

NASHVILLE, TN -- The family of a Nashville woman killed in a drunken-driving wreck in November is suing the bar they claim overserved the driver.
WSMV reports that the family of Trena Goshtasbi is suing TNT's Billiards, Bar and Grill on Bass Avenue at Nolensville Road, claiming the bar is partly to blame for the crash. Goshtabi was riding in a Nissan Pathfinder driven by her friend Hanse Merrick. The Pathfinder flipped on Burkitt Road when Merrick missed a curve. Metro Police said Merrick's blood-alcohol level was three times the legal limit.
TNT's was sued by the same law firm representing Goshtasbi's family in 2013; the bar settled that case.
