South Nashville Wow! House: A Nashville NASCAR Legend's Home

WOW House: The home of the late Earl Sadler, who sent seven locals to NASCAR's top division, is for sale.

NASHVILLE, TN -- The late Earl Sadler is a local stock-car racing legend. Not for what he did behind the wheel. Sadler ran a trucking company as his main line, but his passion was the stock-car racing team that bore his name. He wasn't a racer himself, but, boy, could he spot him.

Sadler, who died on Christmas Eve 2009 at 87, sent seven drivers from his Sadler Racing from the Fairgrounds track in Nashville all the way to NASCAR's top division: Sterling Marlin, Davey Allison, Michael Waltrip, Jeremy Mayfield, Jeff Green and both Bobby Hamilton Sr. and Jr. His Forest Hills property is now for sale. The listing says the original house — built in 1930 — needs a total overhaul or else to be put to the bulldozer, but the guest house is livable.
